Once again, it’s been way too long since I updated my blog... I’m sorry guys, it’s more difficult updating this then I thought it’s be but I promise to be better at, you guys deserve that much... My apologies for how long this is turning out to be... I’ll try to update more often so it less to taken all at once. Thank you for taking the time to look at this and read it. I love you guys.

I’ve been leaning so much, the difficulties of teaching, the blessings of teaching... Growing so much in my personal relationship with the Lord. I’ve come to the conclusion that really no matter how much time you are allotted you will never feel content, you’ll always want more time to study more in this or that but but what’s important is that you go to class with what you have a peace that God wants you to share, it’s not about the knowledge to be attain but meeting God and hearing from Him. I have been so blessed going through the book of Ephesians, being able to dig deeply into a section of scripture and see what it’s all about, God’s word is so vast but yet has been given to man for His comprehension. Teaching has been so growing for me, I've realized how incapable I am, but God is gracious, and wants to use me anyway...

The campus as a whole is doing pretty great, especially with it being such a small campus, their hasn't really been much to any drama, so that a blessing.
I’ve understand more now that the students are really the ministry that I've been called out here to be apart of. Ryan the director said that his heart was that Aaron (another intern) and I  just spend time with and invest in the students... So it's been a blessing to get to to that. We'll all getting pretty close.

The students for their evangelism class, had to plan out an out reach to do for the community, and what was decided was to do a free pedicure outreach for the women of San Isidro. Child care will be available, while their mom’s get pampered and shown the love of God, they too will be presented the gospel, through the wordless, puppets and games. The heart of the students was to bless them and to give them a day of relaxation, and share Gods love by washing some feet. This will bless the community, and with fashion being really big here this event should draw lots of ladies, and their children. The out reach is geared obviously toward women, which is good for San Isidro with the radio of women to men being something like 3 to 1... And the family is really broken here as we'll, so you'll find lots of women with child and no father in the picture. So this is something you guys could keep in prayer.

Here is Ryan and I, He's the Director of the teaching site down here.
He's also whom I'm interning under.
This is Marry, she's turn two! She's the daughter of Darwin,
the missionary from Peru who teaches the Daniel class,
he invited all of at the college to join the to celebrate,
but if we wanted to come we too had to dress up...

So we did...
We (starting from the left) have a nurse, a gypsies, an 8-'s girl,
tinker-bell, old cat lady, a couple of traditional tics, a little girl, a pirate,
a super hero, a couple killer bees and a good old skipper

We cruised down to Dominical, for a fun beach day.
It's awesome getting to spend time with
the students and get to know them...

Cool place in town, I went in and talked to the guy for like a half hour...
Another thing to be loved about the culture here is
that it seems like for the most part everyone is down to talk anytime,
people here are real relational, willing to listen, just very hospitable.
GAME TIME!!
We've been bi-weekly snagging the 1 pm slot at the local futbĂșl field.
For the most part we aren't all that good but its a blast to play anyway.

View from our backyard...

Brent and I getting some studying done, at local cafe shop.

There is so much to be learned from the Letter to the Ephesians,  I would recommend to anyone wondering what a christians life should look like, read through this book all in one sitting, Paul first aims at our minds and why of thinking and then practical application.

Doing some more studying with Brent in the backyard. Up to this point I have taught four classes and have been growing in my teaching ability... I have one more class (Oct.29) to teach and I'm praying that I can finish well. The semester isn't at my last class. It's the start of the next portion of classes. They'll be block classes. I'm hoping on sitting in on a couple classes and catching up on grading and class recordings. Which is a new responsibility I've been put in charge of, taking all the class/ sunday night community study and editing pauses out of them and storing them.

The door has opened for us to be able to an all boy's orphanage, we went for the first time last week and it was a blast,  with it being the first time it was just and introduction time and of coarse we played soccer. There about 20 boys there ranging from the age of 4 to 14, all there for a varying reasons, death of parents, abuse, neglect, placed there for their own protection. It's was such a blessing to be there, we're all looking forward to going back. Before we left, a couple of the boys thanked us for coming, what they said really hit the heart. I don't mean to sound wired or super spiritual but it felt right being their just loving on the boys and serving them, it felt like James 1:27" Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."
This past weekend Ty, and Dylson, Gerry's sons by marriage,(Gerry is the evangelism class teacher) took Aaron and I  on a mountain  bike ride, literally up a mountian it was intense to say the least! We went by coffee fields, through mud puddles, saw cattle,  horses and even monkeys! It was awesome getting to spend time with Ty and Dylson, their both real cool guys. Ty is 17 and Dylson is 14.

Aaron keeping Brent looking good.

Ephesians 5:18b-20
"But be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Praise God for Skype! I miss her dearly... But I won't get to mushy here, but for reals keep us in your prayers it's difficult to be apart. It's a blessed time of growth in our relationship, but with growth there is growing pains but what we both rest on is Christ, He is the rock our relationship is rooted in.

New Feet!
Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.
2 Corinthians 5:7
for we walk by faith, not by sight.

This is the flyer the students made to pass out for their upcoming event!
The other day we went through the neighborhood passing out the flyers, me and Aaron went out together, it's funny it seemed like most of the houses we stopped at to give out flyers they already new the place. It's cool to know that we are making an impact on our surroundings...
